Work has begun, it's no joke
Started to take a look at Chasing Cars song, worked out beats per minute (104) and key (A Major). Will be using PC software called Cakewalk SONAR Producer to engineer, record, mix and produce the song. I will play keyboard (synths), guitar, drum machine and vocals while recording (not all together), laying tracks one by one. The main guitar riff that lasts throughout the song will be recorded as the first track.
Typical
Typical, the keyboard I'm using on the song needs a new battery all of a sudden, so got to remove the outer case, unscrew some circuit boards to get at the battery. This isn't music.

You'll never know if I record the vocal tracks naked
Hoping to start messing with composition and laying down backing track ideas over Easter. I'll let those that want to know when I'm doing the vocal tracks.
